Description
Myrtle Cottage is a welcoming, spacious, dog friendly holiday home, perfectly situated to enjoy the many coastal walks and spectacular views right on your doorstep.Sleeps 14 in the main house and annexe combined. There is the option to split the accommodation. 10 people in the main house, and 4 people in the annexe.
THE MAIN HOUSE.
Sleeps 10
4 large bedrooms; 3 with ensuites and ground floor family bathroom.
THE KITCHEN:
Large, light, modern & very well equipped, including Range Cooker, large Samsung Fridge/Freezer, a drinks fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave and extensive choice of kitchen utensils & gadgets.
The extendable table can seat 14. (More at a squeeze!).
The antique oak Welsh Dresser and wooden settle contain lots of games and puzzles.
The back door leads into the ‘carport’ – ideal storage area e.g. for golf, surfing, boating and cycling kit. Doors at each end lead through from front drive to back garden.
THE LIVING ROOM:
Sunny and spacious with 3 large, comfy sofas, armchair, large wool rug on an oak floor, coffee table (good for playing games/puzzles!) TV & DVD.
A log burner will keep you toasty in the cooler evenings. perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book.
French doors lead out to the conservatory.
THE CONSERVATORY:
Furnished with wicker armchairs including a circular Thai lounger, full of cushions & perfect for quiet naps or reading to the children, or relaxing with the dogs. A door leads onto the patio and out into the garden.
A BROAD PATIO & BEAUTIFUL GARDEN:
with expanses of lawn, trees, flowering borders, summerhouse, charcoal BBQ and ample garden furniture. Perfect for alfresco dining on warm evenings after long days spent at the beach. A washing line is tucked away at the end, so you can dry those swim suits and towels ready for your next day of exploring!
TWO FIRST FLOOR BEDROOMS:
Both are Large, airy and sunlit (one overlooks the main garden, the other the driveway)
BOTH have super-king beds (convertible to twin divans on request), and are well furnished and have modern ensuites with power shower, WC, wash basin and shaver point.
TWO GROUND FLOOR BEDROOMS:
Family triple bedroom with a King size bed and single divan, with childs trundle bed and large ensuite (power shower, WC, wash basin and shaver point). A lovely view of the garden too!
Bedroom 4 has a 5ft kingsize bed and is fully furnished.
Family Bathroom with power shower over the bath, WC and wash basin.
THE ANNEX.
Is linked to the MAIN HOUSE via the outer entrance hall. Two steps up lead you to the annex front door, which has its own key. Sleeps 4
The open plan lounge and kitchen dinner lead off from the hallway. This cosy room has a gas real flame burner, two comfy two seater sofas. a retro dining table with window seats and the small but well equipped kitchenette.
Bedroom 1: Has a view over the front garden and has a zip link 5ft King size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk .
Bedroom 2: has a 6’ zip & link (can be twin divans); bookcase and chest of drawers.
Family Bathroom with power shower over the bath, WC, wash basin, shaver point, airing cupboard & boiler cupboard. A door leads out to a sunny balcony overlooking the main garden.
