"Ta Peppa is one of a cluster of self-catering rental holiday villas nestled in a private and secluded spot within the Il Vigneto suite.

Lovingly restored the cottage is full of original features with an attention to detail that blends contemporary living with a wonderfully authentic rustic Gozo feel. The secluded pool terrace houses a stylish range of co-ordinated rattan sunbeds and a dining suite.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Through the entrance door and you’re immediately into the welcoming reception room. Two stone archways lead from here to a living kitchen and dining room. Dark wooden ceiling beams add period character while the lounge’s leather settees and flat screen TV create a haven from the sun or a cosy year round den.

A dining area leads to the well equipped kitchen. There is also a WC on the ground floor and a vintage wrought iron staircase which leads to the 1st floor.

An inviting private pool sits alongside a stone courtyard with generous space for secluded al fresco dining.

All three bedrooms are on the first floor reached via the spiral staircase. Bedroom 1 has two single beds and an en-suite shower room. Along the galley landing with wrought iron handrails, are bedrooms 2 & 3 with their period-feel antique style wooden doors. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and a shower room en-suite.

Bedroom 3 is the master bedroom where a wide reception room, double bed and balcony views, combine to create a regal feel. This bedroom has a modern en-suite bathroom.

Xaghra’s village square just a 10 minute stroll from your Gozo holiday home has a cosmopolitan range of restaurants and a buzzing café atmosphere. It’s a great place for a hearty meal or a light snack and just as good for people watching. It is also within a short distance of the island’s main summer resort of Marsalforn with its excellent swimming spots restaurants bars and bustling summer crowds. Marsalforn is 1.2km from Xaghra. Xwejni Bay is 3.3km away.

Ix-Xwejni Bay and Qbajjar Bay are both easily reached through Marsalforn or i|-{ebbu!. The two shallow bays are right next to each other with small pebbly beaches and rocky stretches leading into clear blue water. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the bays’ excellent swimming and there’s good diving to be had especially for beginners. A few fishing boats are based here too and there are a couple of bars and restaurants on the sea front.

Xaghra is also home to unique prehistoric temples which are the oldest standing structures in the world. Together with the burial grounds close by they’re a magnet for historians and archaeologists from all over the world.

The nearest supermarket is located off the village square away and a good spot to top up provisions or catch service 322 for Victoria if you want a bigger range of shops.
