A Little Bit About Mevagissey

Mevagissey is located on the southern coast of Cornwall and boasts a variety of different beaches to stroll along, like the Mevagissey beach, Portmellon beach and the sandy Pentewan beach. It also has great quality fish and chips from the many restaurants, and pubs for the late-night adventures.

The working harbour is the main attraction, perfectly placed on the unspoilt coastline. With two beaches accompanied by scenic walks along coastal cliffs there is plenty to explore. The Aquarium Museum is also open and is a charity project for those interested in Mevagissey’s history as a fishing town.

The annual feast week is another attraction of dancing, singing and of course, eating great food. It takes place every late June to early July.

To top it all off, the famous Eden Project is only 20 minutes away!

Of course, you’ll need somewhere to stay to enjoy all of this, Mevagissey has some beautiful cottages and apartments with amazing views of the sea and shoreline cliffs. All perfectly placed to be accessible to the attractions and activities in the town itself.
