Description

This privately owned two-storey cottage, has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is centrally located near the award winning beaches and attractions of Newquay. Atlantic Cottage (no 28) is set within the 'Atlantic Reach' holiday resort in the rolling Cornish countryside and provides an excellent base to discover the many wonders that Cornwall has to offer.

It's superbly fitted and sleeps up to 8 people in comfort (10 with your own kids beds). The property also provides central heating, double glazing, WiFi and an outdoor patio area. Available 365 days a year, the cottage is the ideal escape for families or groups of friends with kids.

Atlantic Reach boasts a host of on-site facilities (which can be used by our guests) including indoor/outdoor Swimming Pools, Children's Pool, Beauty Spa, Gym, Football Pitch, Crazy Golf, Tennis, Children's Adventure Fort, Arcade, Bar & Restaurant, seasonal disco and entertainment.

Booking Policy:

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 8 weeks before your stay. If your booking is within 8 weeks of your holiday date then full payment is required at the time of booking.

We accept Debit/Credit card payments over the phone or can send an electronic invoice which you can pay online.

Cancellation Policy.

If a cancellation is requested more than eight weeks in advance of the holiday, the balance of any monies paid, less the rental deposit, will be returned to the guest. If the cancellation is requested within eight weeks prior to the letting, the owner will retain the 25% deposit and also reserves the right to retain the balance of the rental should it not be possible to re-let the property for this period.

How To Get There: By Car: Just off the A30 at Indians Queens, on the A392 to Newquay. Full directions given at time of booking.

By Rail: Newquay Station is 7 miles away (10km) and St Columb Road is the nearest local Station, just 1 mile away (1.5Km).

By Air: The cottage is located 6 miles from Newquay Airport which is served by Ryanair, BMI Baby, Air Southwest, Monarch, Jet2, Lufthansa and Skybus.

Flights are available to and from London Stansted, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Cork, Dublin, Isle Of Man, Isles of Scilly, Alicante, Barcelona, Dusseldorf, Zurich and St Brieuc.

Excellent Family Accomodation

First of all when we walked through the door we couldn't believe the size of the accomodation, it's like a tardis, bigger on the inside? The resort itself is nice and the house is set among other properties adorned with pastel coloured facias, parking wasn't a problem with just a short walk to the front door. We didn't see much of the resort or use it's facillies because all we wanted was a base to explore the rest of Cornwall and this property was ideal for that. The ground floor is spacious and well set out with two beautiful leather sofas that were really comfortable, there was six of us including two teenagers and there was plenty of room, the chunky oak table and chairs was great for family meals and board games and the small kitchen was serviceable but could do with a little update in places. I am disabled so cannot do the stairs so it was lovely to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, just a heads up though, the bedroom had no mirror so I struggled to find somewhere to dry and style my hair and the shower definitely needs a handrail, these are minor issues though and they didn't impact our holiday at all. We would definitely recommend this lovely little house and will return soon. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. 5 Stars ++++

Lovely New Years break

Our experience didn’t quite start off as planned but this is more down to the lack of sign postings/directions in the resort itself and us arriving in the dark after hours. Once we located the house (with the help of Sally) we entered the property with ease and we’re instantly surprised at how spacious yet cosy everything was. The rooms were all great size, living rooms was perfect for a large group. Adequate number of bathrooms which were all fully functional. The downstairs heaters all worked fine but there were a couple upstairs which did not work on demand (they are on a heat control system) which meant we needed to keep the downstairs on full to heat up the house at night time. Kitchen was fully stocked. Fridge/freezer was good size and operated well. Hoover didn’t work but I asked Sally for a replacement which was delivered immediately. TV was modern with all features to keep little ones entertained. The site itself has a fast charger for EVs and we’ll as some slower ports. Swimming pool and gym looked good although we didn’t use. Surprised that the kids club and games room were not there anymore but we were out during most day times. Overall, the property was great and gave us everything we needed. management was on hand to cater for anything we needed. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation which is a good distance from the town and nearby to other attractions. Scott was very helpful in recommending restaurants for us too so thank you to you and Sally.

Fantastic Week Away

Fantastic property. Stayed as a family of 10 with a dog. House was big enough for everyone. Well kept and very clean when we arrived. Would book the house again and definitely recommend it to other family and friends. Location was good. We visited lots of other places in Cornwall and there were good amenities on the site although we didn’t use them that much as spent days out.
