Looe is on the South East coast of Cornwall which is often overlooked by people coming to holiday in Cornwall as they tend to head straight for the North Coast of Padstow, Newquay and St Ives etc. A very popular activity in this area is to walk the South West Coastal Path.

The south coast is steeped in history about smuggling, especially in Polperro and the surrounding area. Bodmin Moor and its historical sites for mining are also well worth a visit.
