A unique 5 star property close to the seashore all on one level*.

This property was the original Coastguard Station in Amble from where the lifeboat used to be launched from the mid 1800’s. A sensitive renovation has taken place to allow the launch to become a modern open plan layout. The original beautiful stone arch of the station is a feature within the apartment.

This is simply the best location in Amble, You could not be staying any closer to the sea. At high tide the water laps against the promenade wall.
Immediately outside the house you can stroll along the breakwater and pier to the harbour.

The apartment has 2 entrances, one from the sea front on the promenade and one from Bay View above.
2 steps up from the promenade through a private gate is the lower entrance.

This leads into the hallway. where you find boot storage. There are full bi-fold windows that open across the front and there are 2 desks with leather chairs giving you the best working from home office space you could ever have.

The spacious Scandi' style sitting room has an underfloor heating system There are large comfy leather sofas and a smart TV plus side tables. Full bi-fold windows open across the whole of this room.

The kitchen also has an underfloor heating system and is extremely well equipped. It is a joy to cook and dine in The curves of the kitchen echo the waves of the sea.
Appliances include a dishwasher, induction hob, 2 electric ovens with a grill. There is an American fridge freezer that has a chill system which provides ice and water. A microwave, kettle and toaster all complement the glass and steel look to the ground floor. You will find a washing machine and a tumble dryer here.

In the kitchen diner you have a glass and steel table with super comfy leather dining chairs.

In bedroom 1 you have a super-king size bed. With a wardrobe, drawers and bedside shelving furnishing the room. The en-suite shower room has a rain shower WC and a sink with storage. A lighted mirror is fitted as is a heated towel rail. There is a gas central heating radiator to the bedroom

Bedroom 2 has a zip link king bed that can be made into 2 singles if required on request before arrival.

It has an ensuite rain shower, WC and a sink with storage. A shaving light and a heated towel rail.

Open steel hanging space and pine drawers and bedside cabinets complete the furnishing. There is a gas central heating radiator fitted to this room.

Watch the local fishing boats unload the daily catch and purchase the freshest seafood from the Alliance fish stall.
Enjoy coffee and cakes or dine at the restaurants on the harbour.
Dip into the little shore beach and then explore the rock pools on the ‘jumpy’ shore, both are adjacent to the apartment.
Browse through the independent shops and the collection of retail ‘pod’s next to the harbour and enjoy the local produce in the many restaurants found in town.
Take kayak or paddle board lessons from the surf school.
Hire electric bikes to explore. Cyclists and runners have a wonderful separate road side track to Alnmouth from Warkworth which is an easy 1.5 miles away.
Enjoy taking a river walk from Amble through into Warkworth to visit the medieval castle. Walk along Amble links beach to Hauxley and continue as far as Cresswell passing through Druridge Bay Alternatively stroll or cycle the coastal path to the same destination.
From Alnmouth train station which is 10 minutes drive away you can easily reach York, Durham, Newcastle, Berwick upon Tweed and
Edinburgh, you can even visit London for the day.
Take a boat trip to Coquet Island for the amazing birdlife.
Spot the numerous sea birds plus the seals and the pods of dolphins making occasional appearances at the harbour mouth..
