Lakeside Luxury at Retallack Resort – 4-Bed Lodge with Hot Tub & Resort AccessOur beautiful three-floor lodge overlooks a small tranquil lake at the 5 Retallack Resort and is perfect for families or groups of friends. With four spacious ensuite bedrooms, a private hot tub and complimentary access to the resort’s indoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room, and tennis court, your relaxing Cornish getaway starts here.
The fully equipped kitchen and living/dining room make mealtimes a breeze, whether you’re cooking together or enjoying a takeaway. Watch a movie on the wall-mounted TV or dine alfresco on the enclosed rear patio with a large outdoor table — ideal for summer evenings.
Bring your own rods to fish in the lakes, or take advantage of on-site activities (extra cost) including the thrilling FlowRider, and in the summer season, a giant inflatable aqua park and wakeboarding. There’s also a spa, bar and restaurant on site.
Explore nearby Padstow (8 miles) or Newquay (10 miles), both offering stunning beaches, shops, and restaurants. For outdoor lovers, cycle the scenic Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow or brave the 440-foot Slip and Slide (June–September).

The space
This spacious, three-floor lakeside lodge is designed for comfort and relaxation — perfect for families, friends, or a peaceful escape.
On the lower level you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need: a 5-ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster, and all essential cookware. The open-plan living and dining area is ideal for gathering, with French doors leading to a fully enclosed patio. Enjoy meals outdoors, unwind in the hot tub, or simply soak in the lake views.
Parking is conveniently located at the front of the lodge, level with the main entrance.
Just inside, you’ll find a hallway leading to:
A master bedroom with en-suite shower room and private balcony overlooking the lake
A twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower and toilet
On the top floor, you’ll find:
A second master bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet, plus another private lake-view balcony
A twin bedroom with an en-suite jacuzzi bath, shower over and toilet
For your comfort, bedding, towels and some toiletries are provided, though we kindly ask you to bring your own towels for the pool or beach.
Stay connected with free Wi-Fi and enjoy TVs in the lounge and in all four bedrooms.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome — we accept up to two…because holidays are better with furry friends.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
Due to a land dispute between a nearby farmer and the company that owns Retallack Resort a wire fence has been erected on the strip of land between the lodges and the lake shown in our photos. There is currently no access to the lake from the back of the lodge, but you can still walk to it and the other lakes from the front. The photo showing the outside dining table has been updated to show the wire fence beyond, which is visible from the hot tub and patio. We will update the other photos of the rear of the lodge soon.
As responsible and caring hosts we have reduced our prices to compensate for the affected view until the wire fence is removed.

ELECTRIC CARS
We have been unable to put in an electric charging point, despite owning an electric vehicle for 10 years and for health and safety reasons we cannot have trailing wires from a car to the property. So it strictly against the rules to charge an electric vehicle at the property and the cost of the holiday does not include electricity for this purpose. There are electric charging points on site and at the BP garage near Wadebridge (5.5 miles away), at Tescos (6 miles away) and at Cornwall Services (8 miles away)

Guest access
Prior to arrival you will be given information on retrieving the key from a key safe.
You have free use of the on-site Pool, Steam Room, Sauna and Gym during your stay. (Please note there is now a booking system and sometimes access to facilities may be limited or out of use, which is out of our control)
There is also a Children’s Playground and a Tennis Court and Fishing is usually free if you bring your own equipment

Other things to note
This is not a suitable house for loud parties after 10pm as this may contravene the rules of Retallack Resort and Spa. We reserve the right to ask you to leave with no refund if you break this rule.
There are stair gates, two high chairs and a travel cot. Please bring your own baby bedding.

The property itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean and perfectly presented. Plenty of space and storage. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment and immaculately clean. A lovely touch to be welcomed with scones, jam and cream and milk in the fridge. The bedrooms were spacious and the had the most comfortable beds. Fluffy towels provided for each guest, and toiletries in each of the bathrooms. Plenty of space for a large family to relax. Lovely to have the use of the hot tub and was clean and well maintained during our stay! Faultless, five star stay. Would not hesitate to return and recommend Thank you Saj

Saj was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble for her and even when she knew she wouldn’t have great signal, she gave us the number of someone else who could assist us if there was a problem. The accommodation was pristine and spacious. There were 4 adults, 3 children and a dog and there was plenty of space for us all. Every room had an en-suite which was perfect for a large group. The hot tub was a wonderful add on and the nature surroundings were outstanding. The resort itself is beautiful and close enough for days out to local towns and beaches. I would definitely recommend Porth beach, it’s stunning. We have had the best holiday and will definitely book through Saj again, you truly are a superhost! Thank you again for everything.

We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children and it accommodated us all easily.All bedrooms were on suite so you were never under pressure for showers or toilets and the water was always hot regardless of how many people used it. The kitchen was well equipped and easily allowed us to cook a full Sunday roast. The lounge was spacious and over looked a peaceful lake. The hot tube was well used by us all because it was spotless and always warm.There were some lovely touches ie; tea coffee and milk as well as scones with jam and cream, as well as games and books.We also found the wine fridge very useful. The location was ideal for exploring and you were never far away from a beach. We would definitely return and recommend it to friends.

A fantastic holiday home, every bedroom has an en-suite, the kitchen is equipped everything you could need, and Saj left us a gift of chocolates, flowers and cream/scones which was welcomed by us all. Loads of space for cars and it’s a nice extra to have a hot tub and direct access to the large pond at the back We made the most of the on-site facilities, great fun was had on the obstacle course (even my 6 yr old loved it) and the dads and older sons loved the flow rider. We dined at the on-site restaurant a few times and we’re never left disappointed. Saj provided us with a list of things to do nearby which was so helpful and we headed to most things on the list. Thanks again .
