Long Compton is situated in the northern section of the Cotswolds. It is ideally sited for visits to Oxford (25 miles) and Stratford-on-Avon (16 miles). In addition the well known Cotswold towns of Broadway, Chipping Campden, Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford and Cheltenham are all within 20 miles.
The area is also rich in National Trust properties and gardens, not to mention Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle.
Other local attractions include Alan Hensen’s Cotswold Farm Park (as seen on BBC’s Countryfile), Burford wildlife park and Bourton-on-the-Water Birdland.
