Description

Bijou & stylish. Ideally located for shops, restaurants, bars and access to beaches. 400m from the bus station and 450m from the train station. Only 400m from where you catch the ferries to the magical islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol. These have some of the most beautiful beaches on the Algarve. 'People watch' the night away whilst sipping drinks and listening to music at the waterfront bars. There is always something wonderful to do in Olhão.

No. 7, Olhão is a typical Olhanese fisherman’s cottage. It is ideally located in the Baixa, Olhão’s sought after old town. No. 7 is fully renovated using traditional materials but with a modern design. No. 7 is bijou but has everything you need to enjoy a magical holiday in beautiful Olhão. The roof terrace is 15 m2 and a wonderful sun trap on which to relax and dine. It includes an outdoor kitchen and barbeque, table and seating, sun loungers and even an outside shower to cool off on those glorious Algarvian summer days. No 7 consists of a lounge, kitchen, dining area, downstairs toilet and sink, upstairs shower room and 2 bedrooms which lead on to a balcony. From the balcony, steps take you up to the roof terrace. The bedroom level has air conditioning. The bedrooms are cosy in size. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second has a single bed. We would suggest that this makes No. 7 more suitable for a couple, family of 3 or 2 friends sharing.

No.7 comes with guaranteed parking, at no additional cost, in an underground car park that is staffed. The car park is only 3 minutes walk (260m) from the house. Parking can be very difficult to access in the peak summer months so a guaranteed space is a stand out feature of this property.

Please note that the staircases in the house are very narrow (55 cm width). In the typical Olhanese way the front door of No. 7 opens onto the street so care should be taken to check for traffic before stepping out. Olhão is a much desired urban location that is continually being improved. This means that there is always the possibility of renovation works taking place in the neighbourhood. This applies to all of Olhão.

No. 7 Olhão is a lovely 2 storey traditional house with a 3rd floor patio. It is very clean, modernand very comfortable.

We stayed 28 days. No. 7 Olhão is an AWESOME stay. It was clean, modern comfortable and safe! We cannot emphasize how perfectly located. Walking: 5 minutes to groceries and laundromat for drying. 2 minutes to Christy Bakery for the best Pastel de Nata in the Algarve. 6 minutes to the train station and 10 minutes to the main strip by the ocean. Our long daily walks were WONDERFUL. Nick and Andrew were kind, thoughtful and so helpful. 10/10 for everything. Highly recommend.

Great stay @ a lovely house

The perfect place for some weeks of workation while escaping the grey and cold time in Germany… so perfect that I’ve already booked for next year. 🥰

Wonderful holiday in a real gem of a property

Just back from a wonderful holiday staying at No7 Olhao. Nick and Andrew are excellent hosts who have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and to minimise the amount of luggage you need to bring - an absolute godsend if you're restricted to the Ryanair allowance! Olhao is a wonderful town that still feels very Portuguese and a little quieter than some of the more well known resorts on the Algarve, although there is plenty going on along the Marina area to keep you entertained. There are lots of beautiful, quiet and unspoilt beaches accessible by a short ferry ride - make sure to choose the last sailing back to Olhao for a spectacular sunset cruise! And for days when you want to be even lazier, No7's roof terrace is a beautiful little sun trap, though well equipped with plenty of shade if the heat gets too much for you. The kitchen is really well equipped and there's a decent-sized supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away, as well as lots of excellent restaurants serving every kind of food you can think of. The hosts have made excellent use of space throughout the property, and the open plan living area in particular feels spacious and comfortable - lots of TV channels available in a range of languages for a cosy night in (smart TV so Netflix, etc. also available if you have your own login). Highly recommend No7 and the Olhao area as a whole. Thank you, Nick & Andrew!
