Casa Cascada is a traditionally designed Spanish villa which has been fitted and furnished to a high standard. It is fronted by palms trees with Oleander bushes defining the garden boundaries. The front terrace benefits from a stylish infinity pool with stunning views over Port Addaia Marina and the environmentally protected inlet.. There is a shaded terrace area with table and chairs which seat 8 for alfresco dining, and 2 exterior ceiling fans to keep you cool on hot days, for your added outdoor enjoyment there is a large gas fired BBQ, sun loungers, a garden swing chair and a raftan style outdoor settee, armchairs and coffee table.

Casa Cascada benefits from individual climate control units in each room offering a choice of temperature. There are adjustable insect screens fitted to most windows which gives the option of having your windows open at night. The living/dining room is spacious and tastefully furnished with three large settees a centre coffee table and various small drinks tables, a large dining table with chairs seating 8, TV (BBC channels etc.) and DVD player with a selection of DVD's. There is a plentiful supply of books to read and relax with. The living room has a wide choice of lighting plus a large interior ceiling fan for extra coolness.

The kitchen is light and spacious and extremely well equipped with large fridge/freezer, touch control hob, fan assisted oven, microwave, toaster and wine cooler. Just off from the kitchen there is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer etc. Children are welcome, we can provide a high chair, travel cot and stair gates if needed at no extra cost.

There are two double bedrooms each with a king size bed and an en suite bathrooms, and two twin bedded rooms also with en suite bathrooms, all bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with drawer units. Just off the main bedroom there is a large sun bathing terrace with beautiful panoramic views of the Marina, boats and sea. The village centre is an easy 8 minute walk with several bars, restaurants, a gift /paper shop plus a mini market with a wide range of groceries, fruit and vegetables.
Addaia Marina is within a very short stroll (approximately 3 minutes), where La Cantina bar/restaurant offers a relaxing venue for meeting friends for drinks, lunch or evening meal and offers a picturesque view of the various boats and yacht's moored nearby.

Casa Cascada is situated on the north/east coast approximately 30 minutes from Mahon airport. Addaia is an ideal location for relaxing, meeting people and soaking up the sun, and has many very attractive private villas. For the more energetic there is the Cami Caval, a section of the around island walking route.. In the Marina there are cycles, kayaks, paddle boards etc. that can be hired. A full size outdoor Table Tennis table is situated on the rear terracing.


Fast speed fibre optic internet connection recently installed.

In the villa on arrival you will find a small welcome pack which includes water, tea, milk, juice, bread, butter, large bag of crisps, a bottle of wine and some cans of lager to welcome you. All linen is provided, including pool and beach towels. For a longer stay of more than 9 days a mid holiday change of linen, bathroom clean and general tidy is included. A car is desirable to appreciate the lovely island of Menorca, although there is a fairly reliable bus and taxi service from the village for guests not wanting to drive.

We found the villa incredibly well equipped, there was nothing that we needed that wasn't there. After a warm welcome, we settled in to this clean and comfortable villa.

The area was perfect for us, nice and quiet with a couple of lovely places to eat. The little harbour offers kayaking, paddle boarding and boat hire. For sandy beaches and beautiful coves, there are several nearby, a car is necessary. Given the chance, we would love to go back.

Lovely Villa

Lovely villa, very clean with plenty of utensils,crockery etc. Spacious lounge area. The views down to the harbour from the pool, patio and upper balconies were superb, the pictures on the HomeAway website really don't do it justice, they are much better and they certainly exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Rowena (the owner) on arrival who couldn't have been more helpful during our two week stay, likewise her children. Our 3 grandchildren aged 5,6 and 8 loved the infinity pool and were playing and swimming in all the times of the day and evening as it was lovely and warm. Nice touch leaving a welcome pack for us on arrival. The area is excellent with a few really good restaurants. We liked El Castillo the best of all as it served superb food and have very, very friendly staff, highly recommended by all of us, including our grandchildren. There is a small supermarket in the centre (5/10 mins away) with a good selection of food plus fresh bread etc baked on site. It is slightly more expensive than the larger supermarkets (approx 20 minutes away by car, easy to get to) but this should be expected. There is also a small shop for newspapers plus souvenirs, clothes, swimming gear etc. Snorkeling and fishing close by plus boats, bikes and kayaks you can hire for a few hours in the harbour. Strolling around the harbour looking at all the lovely boats after a few drinks and snacks/meals was also very enjoyable. Myles, Kathryn, Sarah, Graham, Mathew, William and Eloise.

What a villa and what a view, every need is catered for here, a lovely property on a lovely Island. A villa where everything works even the showers are powerful I could live here. Recommended highly.

Excellent location about 25 minute drive from the airport. The villa was absolutely superb with top quality fixtures and fittings, lovely pool and patio overlooking the harbour. Three restaurants within 10 minutes walk as is the local supermarket, there is a national park just around the bay if you would like a relaxing walk. Many outher restaurants within 15 minute drive, the whole island is very accessible and traffic volumes are very low. The local people are very friendly and extremely helpful, the British owners of the villa are next door to help with any questions that you may have. If you are looking for a relaxing luxurious break then this is the place for you BR.
