Description

Villa Suva is ideally situated in the heart of the Pylaros Valley, enjoying panoramic views of the mountains and the Ionian Sea.
Well equipped and tastefully furnished, the villa has a large, airy open-plan kitchen, dining and living room, which extends out to a shaded patio for easy outdoor eating.
The villa is equipped with high speed WiFi, a TV and a CD player.
Downstairs, off the living area - there is a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine.
The 3 upstairs bedrooms all have air conditioning and private balconies with marvellous views of the sea and mountains. All doors from the bedrooms to balconies are fitted with mosquito screens.
There are 2 twin bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom and one double bedroom. There is also a family bathroom upstairs with a bath and shower.
Outside, short steps up lead to the large, sunny terrace which surrounds the pool. Beside the pool is a shaded area which leads into the large lawned garden with olive trees and palms.
The villa is a few minutes stroll to the local bakery for fresh bread and delicious pastries (and ice-cream).
There is also a well stocked local shop and petrol station a short walk away.
Step beyond the villa to enjoy the quiet lanes and tracks through the woods and olive groves and enjoy the sound of Greek goat bells in the distance!
The picturesque harbour village of Agia Effimia is only a few minutes drive away. Agia Effimia has a great selection of tavernas, cafes and bars.
If you wish to stay closer to home to eat and drink, there are two lovely local tavernas in walking distance (a little further up the mountain) and a new bar - only a 2 minute walk away!
The spectacular blue-turquoise water of Myrtos Beach, are only a 10 minute drive away - the location for the film - Captain Corelli's Mandolin!

Just Perfect

If you are going to Keffalonia then Villa Suva is the place to book. The villa is set in a lovely garden with a large terraced area around the pool to relax and chill on sun loungers. The villa is comfortable with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and indoor and outdoor dining areas. It is so perfectly situated within walking distance of a bakery and little further up the hill a mini market. There are also great places to eat nearby. A short drive and you are in Agia Effemia itself with shops, restaurants, boat trips and taxis all available. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Lovely place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Suva. It is set in a beautiful valley. Early morning cuppa on the balcony watching the sunrise over the hills was magical. Villa was lovely and clean and had everything you need. Pool was sparkling and well managed. Good location for exploring the island. Daily visits from Mumma cat and her kittens were an added bonus. Would definitely come back again.

A lovely Villa in a peaceful location. Unfortunately air conditioning was not working which was quite an important must have, and made it uncomfortable to sleep at night. But apart from that we had a lovely time.
