Overview
Description
Set on a clifftop overlooking Corbière lighthouse on Jersey’s south-west tip, the Radio Tower provides stunning self-catering accommodation over six floors and boasts a jaw-dropping 360-degree view from the lounge. Built during the Second World War by German Occupying Forces, the Tower has been sympathetically restored in a German modernist style.A concrete staircase winds through the centre of the building, up six floors, to a wooden spiral staircase that takes you to the top floor. Authentic features include observation slots on the seaward side and steel doors on the ground floor. The second, third and fourth floors house three identical double bedrooms, each customised within the rounded walls of the Tower with fitted wardrobes and their own adjacent shower room and WC. The kitchen, with an additional WC, occupies the fifth floor and is fitted with modern appliances.
Please be aware that the Tower has a number of stairs and a narrow spiral staircase at the top to access the living area and the best views.

Unique experience
By Carla from Jersey on 11-Oct-2025We had 3 wonderful nights at this unique building in a fabulous location. We arrived on Friday night when a storm hit. We enjoyed watching the waves rolling into St Ouen Bay and crashing into the lighthouse. There are a LOT of steps and the spiral staircase to the top/lounge/viewing area are not for the faint hearted. The steps are worth it for the breathtaking views. The kitchen has everything in it that you would need for a long weekend or week's stay. The rooms are really clean and well thought out. Showers and toilets outside each room are ideal given the different levels and steps! We had a great time. A real adventure.
Unique stay, fabulous views
By Lizzie from St Saviour on 16-Mar-2026We had an amazing stay with our friends and family, the views are spectacular no matter the weather. The place was cosy inside and very well equipped, and all spotless. Would recommend for a unique few nights in history!
A wonderful experience in a breathtaking location
By Adrian from Lucan on 09-Jun-2026Stayed for 4 nights with our 2 adult children and their partners. Accommodation was ideal with each couple having their own bedroom and en-suite. Kitchen was well equipped and met all our needs. The top floor living area is amazing with spectacular panoramic views. Highly recommend.
Perfect

Thoroughly enjoyable stay!
By Lesley on 04-Nov-2025Stayed at the Radio Tower with family and friends during October. What a unique and enjoyable experience. Views from the top are breathtaking and the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen were fully equipped with everything needed. There was also a number of board games for the kids which was a lovely extra touch. We were lucky to experience one sunny day and one stormy day where the views and feel was spectacular. Stairs are not for the faint hearted (kids counted 77 from the bottom to the top!) but we felt well exercised by the end! Kids needed no further entertainment than the joy of exploring all the different rooms. Note there are 2 skylights at the top which can be opened if it gets too warm (we needed these on our first day as the room naturally heats up quickly in the sun). Highly recommend stay at this unique site! Thank you!
Girls’ getaway with a view - unforgettable stay in the tower
By Mandy on 23-Feb-2026Our recent two-night stay at the Radio Tower was absolutely brilliant. I stayed with my girlfriends and we were completely blown away from the moment we arrived. The layout is incredible - one bedroom per floor, each with its own bathroom - so we all had our own private space (and essentially our own floor!), which made the stay feel both luxurious and unique. The views are truly out of this world - waking up to them was a highlight in itself. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the whole experience felt special from start to finish. It’s rare to find somewhere that’s this special yet still so comfortable. You do need to be reasonably fit because of the many stairs, but that’s part of what makes staying in such a historic tower so memorable. Being able to sleep in a place with such fascinating history and character is something we won’t forget. We loved it so much that we’re already planning to make it a yearly tradition. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique, unforgettable stay in Jersey. And we didn't even need to get on a plane.
