Overview
Description
Fisherman’s Cottage dates from the 18th century and overlooks the bay of La Grève D’Azette in Jersey’s main town of St Helier. It has been sensitively restored to create a comfortable, cosy self-catering cottage with authentic features. Sleeping up to four people, the property has a double bedroom, walk-in shower and a fully equipped kitchen. In the living area there is a small double sofa bed and a wood-burning stove. The private garden overlooking the bay is also great for watching the bustle of Havre des Pas, a beach with a traditional promenade, a sea bathing pool and beautiful Victorian architecture.
The Cottage is only a 10-minute walk into the centre of St Helier, with its shops, seaside bars and restaurants, making it a great place to stay for a ‘foodie’ break.
The cottage sleeps two adults and up to two children.

Great cottage with sea view
By Lesley from Manningtree on 08-Jun-2025Lovely cottage renovated to a high standard and all comforts thoughtfully considered . Stunning sea views. Frequent bus service to town and to east of the island. Location is on a steep hill and to bear in mind.
Perfect cottage for our honyemoon
By Emily from Treorchy on 03-Jun-2026A well-appointed, perfectly-located, pet-friendly, charming little cottage that was a wonderful place to call home for our honeymoon in Jersey. We managed to choose the hottest month of the year for our stay and luckily for us the cottage is one of those perfect old buildings that has such thick walls it stayed cool enough for our dog during the day, and for us during the night. If you're staying in the winter instead, don't worry! The living room has a beautiful log burner which was fully stocked with everything you need (of course we did not go near it while we were there!) The location really is fabulous, we had the most wonderful evenings sitting out on the private terrace listening to the sea and the odd bit of karaoke from Havre des Pas! Our dog was very happy out there and we could be sure she was safe and secure wandering around the patio. Very easy to walk to St Helier for dinner (we highly recommend Botana for Tapas) and if you do have a car so that you can see the rest of Jersey, the parking spot a short walk away is super handy.
A little hidden gem
By Anita on 31-Mar-2026A spontaneous few days away. What a beautiful quaint little cottage with the benefit of being right by the sea. A lovely short walk to a few fabulous restaurants which cater for all tastes. Highly recommend if you want to get away and take a step back in time. The glass tiles above were an added touch to show the roof in all its glory.
A really special cottage
By Nicola on 19-Jul-2025We loved our stay at Fishermans Cottage. It's private, just next to the sea with great views out to sea, really well equipped and so close to the centre of St Helier. it's been thoughtfully renovated. We had a great week at the cottage with our dogs who loved the beaches and the park next door. It's a 10 minute walk into St Helier over South Hill so no need to drive. It's a perfect cottage for a couple or small family. a lovely relaxing time - we would definitely come back.
A special cottage in a unique location
By Olwen on 13-Mar-2026This lovely cottage welcomed us as soon as we opened the door. Tiny from the outside, the interior is deceptively spacious and comfortably furnished with every thought given to the small details that made our stay very memorable, including local milk and butter, a generous provision of linen and towels and every kitchen tool and utensil you could possibly need. Airer (useful for drying towels and swimming costumes) pegs, and hairdryer, too, though not listed in the cottage description. And the location is superb. Beautiful view, easy stroll to shops and eateries ( the breakfast and cakes at the Good Egg cafe, below, are extremely good) and the markets, and a secure garden and nearby parking space. Pretty perfect, really.
