Description
Originally part of the fortifications of the Island, La Crête Fort is now a tranquil property built on Jersey’s rugged north coast, well off the beaten track. Full of character, this unique property dates from 1830 and is renovated throughout.The Fort has a king bedroom, a single bedroom and spacious shower room and toilet, which are accessed through the single bedroom. There is a large lounge/diner with a double sofa bed, then a flight of stone steps will take you up to a large granite room with a vaulted ceiling with access to a secluded and sheltered private garden terrace. The property includes a stunning guardroom with comfy seating and dining table offering a versatile space for entertaining.
Due to its remote location there is no TV or Wi-Fi reception in La Crête Fort. The property is also set on different levels, all accessed via granite or concrete steps.

The bed and bedding were really comfortable and everything was spotless on arrival. Views are amazing and some beautiful walks on your doorstep. Exceeded expectations.

Words cant describe how stunning La Crete is
By Georgie on 08-Dec-2025It was a last minute decision to book La Crete as a surprise birthday present rather than doing the usual overnight stay in a hotel and we are so glad we did. It was perfect from beginning to end. The weather was terrible but that didn’t matter, infact it made the stay even for exciting, watching and listening to the waves crashing against the rocks. Inside it was cosy as so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Cooking facilities are great, beds are so comfortable, they even provide games and DVD’s. It really was perfect, we did not want to leave and will definitely be going back!
