Description
Located in Jersey’s idyllic countryside, Hamptonne is a beautifully restored farm with a collection of thatched granite houses, stables and meadows. The Cider Barn apartment is one of two apartments at Hamptonne that have been lovingly restored and can be rented together to accommodate up to 10 people – or hired separately.The Cider Barn Apartment sleeps up to six people and retains many authentic features of the building, including the original plaster work in the large bedrooms, wooden beams and look out for the early 19th-century graffiti! There are is one king and one double bedroom and one twin bunk room with views across the courtyard and surrounding meadows. It has a fantastic, well-equipped open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room, with a shower room and cloakroom with WC off the main hall.
Hamptonne operates as a visitor attraction and the public will be on-site during opening hours. But once the doors close, guests have the property to themselves to roam freely, along with the small group of resident chickens.

Fantastic Stay!
By Tahnee on 05-Aug-2025The cider barn was really well fitted with the right amount of rural charm! We had a lovely time in the grounds on the evening and enjoyed a walk around the orchard. It was peaceful so we slept well, the rooms are comfortable. The site guardien in the morning was cheerful and allowed us to help him feed the chickens, which was a definite highlight. Would definitely stay again and recommend it for all. Booking was easy and the staff were very helpful.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the Hamptonne site and walking the lanes. The apartment is warm, thoughtfully furnished and perfect for a getaway for a few days.
Charming countryside break-out
By Stephan on 23-Apr-2026Our family of five grown-ups spent a wonderful week in the Cider Barn Apartment, a unique and most charming accommodation. We found it well equipped and generously provided with cooking basics and delicious Jersey dairy. The JH people at the farm hosted us warm-heartedly, were kind and always very helpful. The farm itself offers picturesque, quiet spots to relax with a book or just enjoy the scenery, too. Do not miss out on the farm shop with its fresh eggs and greens and make sure to try the breakfast, some delicious cakes and pastries in the farm cafe. We'll be back!
Beautiful Location
By Imogen on 18-Nov-2025I stayed here with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed it so much. Being in the farm was so lovely, hearing the chickens and seeing the baby chicks and everyday was fun. The apartment is lovely, it has everything you could possibly need and more. I very much recommend staying here.
