Secluded, accessed off a small lane and with only a few neighbouring villas, Lemon Tree House is situated high on the hillside above Kerasia beach in the exclusive North-East of Corfu. It has, dare we say it, almost unrivalled views. The panorama takes in the shores of Albania & mainland Greece and in the foreground gentle slopes of olive grove culminate in the crystal Mediterranean. The infinity pool is perfectly positioned to take advantage of this beautiful vista. Rattan sofas and a stone built seating area with 'chunky' wooden table, combined with Lemon Tree's wide, covered balcony at first floor level, provide ample alfresco opportunities. Our own little olive grove stretches down the slope to the fore and the garden abounds with lemon, orange and fig trees. Ideally located close to the exclusive bays of Agios Stefanos and Kerasia (a 12 minute drive) and a few minutes walk to Yannis' wonderful local store.
Lemon Tree House' accommodation includes, at first floor level, a bright comfortable lounge with dining area and separate kitchen/utility room. The lounge opens onto a wide, covered balcony perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing in a rattan chair drinking in the view. On the ground floor you find the master bedroom (3 .00 x 3.8m) with en suite and two compact twin bedrooms (2.67 x 3.00m and 2.00 x 4.7m) plus family bathroom with bath and shower. Air conditioning and mosquito nets are in all the bedrooms. We provide a 'freshen up' cleaning service mid one week stay and a linen change and full housekeeping service midway through a two week stay. Bath towels are also provided.
The lovely infinity pool is 9 x 4.5 metres with 4 built in steps, a shallow end of 1.00 metre and deep end of 1.7 metres. Our annexe situated nearby is for our exclusive use and will not be occupied during your stay.
Lemon Tree House is only 3 kms from the lovely harbour side village of Agios Stefanos. With its waterfront tavernas and jetties set in a horse shoe shaped bay, it's a delightful place to have a leisurely meal or a drink in one of the two cocktail bars. Hiring a boat in Agios Stefanos is highly recommended - the best way to explore the area's beautiful beaches & coves. It is possible to walk to the harbour through the olive grove (down a steep wooded track) which takes approximately 40 minutes or it's about 8 minutes in the car.
The nearest beach to Lemon Tree is Kerasia. A 15 minute walk downhill brings you to this lovely white pebbled beach with its popular taverna (allow at least double the time to come back up though!) or a 12 minute journey by road. Avlaki beach (3 kms) is another delightful bay retaining its tranquillity yet offering a couple of beachside tavernas.
For those wanting a more lively time, Kassiopi with tavernas, bars, gift shops and a small nightclub, is only a short drive and if time allows we also urge you to journey to Corfu town. It has a unique charm - pastel hued buildings full of character and the Parisien Rue de Rivoli inspired 'Liston' with its colonnades and cafes is a must. Cobbled streets and alleys, St Spiridon's church, fortresses, shops and bars - it's a vibrant, cosmopolitan town and we love it!
Closer to home and a few minutes walk down the lane will take you to Sinies, our small hamlet which boasts 'Yannis' a truly excellent small supermarket and a couple of 'locals' bars. We would however highly recommend car hire for accessibility reasons.
It's approximately a 50 minute drive from Corfu airport to Lemon Tree House.

...... are only part of the beauty of Lemon Tree House. A quiet and private location, yet within a few minutes drive of a number of lovely beaches and tavernas.
Corfu Town, Albania and even the southern most parts of Corfu can be seen from the pool and its patio area - also from the balcony dining and seating areas. A wonderful place to breakfast with the sunrise and watch the light of the setting sun across the sea whilst enjoying your evening meal and a glass of wine.
Great and comfortable place to relax and just enjoy life.
Thank you so much.
Beautiful house in the very nicest part of Corfu

This is a very special house, in a very special part of the island. The views are sensational, and it is extremely well run, finished and furnished. The accommodation was easy to get to grips with, we were very sad to leave. We walked to Kerasia beach - and back - it's quite a stroll but worth it, loved the restaurant and bar on the beach there, which were our go-to favourites to have lunch, with a laze and a swim on a shaded sunbed. We had a snack at one of the bars in Sines village, had a drink at another and felt wholly welcomed. The house is very peacefully located and going as we did in early September cool inside with efficient and very necessary aircon; and the lovely pool made everyone's visit perfect! Many thanks to the Monks, we would love to return.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. The villa has everything both inside and out. The outside areas are truly amazing with the most spectacular views. Inside, the villa is spotlessly clean and very well catered for, with very comfortable beds. The welcome pack is a lovely touch and provides all the essentials for when you first arrive. The owners have thought of everything. We first visited Corfu in 2017 and fell in love with it. We have now fallen in love with Lemon Tree House.
Lemon Tree House

Lovely villa with stunning views towards Albania and all the way to Corfu Town. Very comfortable with a small kitchen and spacious areas to relax, dine and sunbathe. Nearby San Stefanos has a pretty harbour with a good selection of restaurants and a couple of bars that wasn’t too touristy when we went at the end of May, beginning of June. The beach below the villa, Kerasia, was our favourite with just one taverna and a small bar - very unspoilt. Probably one of the prettiest areas in Corfu with lovely coastal walks.
Great retreat in Corfu

We have just returned from a fabulous week in Lemon Tree House. The villa is wonderful, very well appointed, clean in a perfect location. The outside space is exceptional, infinity pool with a stunning view.
If you want to explore the NE coast of Corfu I would recommend this as the perfect spot. The owners have been a delight to deal with, efficient with clear instructions once you arrive.
A truly relaxing week, we will return!
A truly beautiful place

The house has a perfect mix of simple Greek charm and tasteful modern design. There are surely few places with such stunning views, either when lazing by the infinity pool or relaxing on the veranda.
The house is within easy reach of local amenities but lovely and peaceful. Beaches, bars and restaurants are all within a short drive. We enjoyed hiring a boat from the local village to explore the beautiful coastline. We will definitely hope to come back next year!
Wow, what a view!

My husband and I enjoyed a marvellously relaxing holiday staying at this beautiful villa. The overall experience was great from start to finish. Tess has made finding the villa from the airport a breeze with detailed and well thought out instructions, despite the roads being narrow, windy and steep at times! The villa itself is very well catered for with all the mod cons and little necessities required to make our stay enjoyable. We were welcomed with some essentials such as bread, milk, coffee - wine! As the title of my review surmises, the views from this villa are outstanding, and even on bad weather days there is something changing to watch. The nearby coastal villages are charming and you can walk to 2 bays from the villa (wear mosquito repellant though!). The local shop really does stock everything and stays open quite late into the evening. Overall, I'd recommend Lemon Tree House to anyone and we will certainly visit again.

Absolutely amazing views down to the bay and across to Albania. Perfectly located to explore the surrounding area and within a short walk of a well stocked supermarket. The house was stylish, contemporary and had everything needed to make us feel very comfortable and cool. We were able to eat outside every night on the terrace and enjoyed looking at the yachts moored in the bay in the moonlight. Surrounded by lovely fruit trees, we were even able to make our own lemonade. Would absolutely recommend and we hope to visit again soon. Beautiful!

We had such a wonderful sunny holiday in Corfu! Lemon Tree Villa exceeded our expectations, modern in design and elegantly decorated it was a great base for exploring the island sights or dining 'al fresco' by the fabulous infinity pool (superb views!). The Villa is in a private location but still close to a well stocked shop. Surrounded by olive groves, fig and orange and of course lemon trees! It is a short drive to the lovely Agios Stephanos from where you can hire boats to explore the local coastline or catch the morning boat taxi to explore the old city of Corfu. Agios Stephanos also has a number of fantastic tavernas to try out. The Villa was very well equipped and we found everything we needed for a family of six adults for our 11 night stay in late June. Tess, the owner, was fantastic to deal with, professional and friendly! She provided lots of information to make our first villa stay really comfortable, relaxing and memorable.

We spent 7 days and it wasn't long enough! Didn't want to leave. The pool has amazing views across to the Albanian mountains. The villa is very well equipped, clean and the decor is modern and tasteful. There is so much to do in Corfu the week just flew by. Lots of lovely Tavernas with great food nearby. Kassiopi was one of our favourite places to eat with a lovely harbour and beach. Hoping to return very soon.
