Good sized 3 bedroom villa in a secluded location and yet within a very short walk of Cala'n Porter's centre. The villa is very well presented, offering everything you will need for a relaxing break. The villa has a tourist licence (Registration Number : ET 0496ME) and therefore you can be assured of the quality of the accommodation. There is unlimited wi-fi in the villa. The large bedrooms all come with an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. One bedroom has a safe for added peace of mind. The kitchen has a dishwasher, built-in oven, gas hob and microwave. The living / dining room has a flatscreen TV, DVD player, Sky TV and a bluetooth speaker. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the lounge. There is a hairdryer in 2 of the bedrooms. Outside there is a fabulous pool and patio area offering total seclusion if required. The pool has a separate shallow end suitable for small children. There is a shaded eating area next to the barbecue and sun loungers to add to your enjoyment of this beautiful villa. A cot, highchair and bed-guard are available if required.
The villa is within 5 minutes walk of the town centre and its bars and restaurants. The town also has supermarkets, a chemist and ATMs. Cala'n Porter's beautiful beach is 15 minutes walk via a set of steps or there is a tourist train which runs frequently around the town and to the beach. There is a kids play park near the villa and an astroturf basketball / football pitch.
The changeover day for the villa is Friday although we are flexible out of peak periods.
Another fantastic stay

This is our 3rd time staying at villa Oliver - we absolutely love it. The villa is in a great location, lots bars and restaurants in walking distance. Definitely will be returning.

We will certainly come back.
Super villa, great situation, wonderful for kids
By Mrs Margaret McCutcheon on 11-Sep-2018
Great place to stay in a quiet back street of Cala and Andy, the villa owner, is really helpful with the booking. We holiday in the town every year en famille and have stayed in several different villas. We like this the best. It is very near the centre of the town and supermarkets but still quiet. Opposite is the Bar 007 which has a fantastic restaurant. The pool has a walled off kiddies' pool which was ideal for our little ones. The villa is well equipped with plenty of dishes etc. In answer to comments re the animals next door, we found them a fascination! Rarely do you see a goat crossing a roof in the UK! Yes there were some flies (but very few mosquitoes) and they did not bother us at all.
A wonderful week in a beautiful villa
By Jane Duffy on 21-Jun-2017
Villa Oliver is possibly one of the best villas we have stayed in. Immaculately clean, well equipped, and airy and spacious. The pool was beautifully maintained and the garden which surrounded the villa gave ample shade and privacy. The bougainvillea was breathtaking. The position of the villa could not be more central. Less than 5 minute walk to a large supermarket, and ample restaurants within easy walking distance. Bar Pons is definitely worth a visit. Very friendly staff and it seemed to be frequented by locals which is always a good sign. Although the villa was so close to all amenities it was peaceful and secluded. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Andy and Justine for lending us your villa.
Great villa, lovely pool, fabulous location
By Nigel Simm on 02-Jul-2016
My wife and myself stayed at this Villa for a week in early June. The booking process was easy. Andy, the owner, replied very quickly to all my messages. The villa is very spacious, and we particularly liked the surrounding garden and the pool, neither of which are overlooked. The garden is well tended, with lovely plants and flowers, the pool was also well-maintained. It does make a difference to have a pool area with flowers and plants, rather than the sparse gardens we saw in other villas in the resort. We also appreciated the fact that the pool is not visible from the road or from neighbouring properties - we really felt secluded and private. The interior of the villa was clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms are large, well laid-out and hot water was plentiful. There was everything we needed in the villa - a good sized fridge and freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher, and plenty of cutlery and crockery. It was quite hot (average 26C) during our visit, but the villa was easy to keep cool by closing the metal shutters to keep the sun out, but leaving the windows open while we were in the pool. This kept the property cool and airy throughout the day. We tried the air-conditioning once, and it worked well, but we just prefer to have a gentle breeze, either through the windows, or from the efficient ceiling fans. There were 2 of us, so we had more than enough space, but I imagine we would have been equally as comfortable with six people. The villa is in a quiet side street, but less than 5 minutes walk to the centre of the resort. There's a nice tapas bar opposite, which plays music in the evenings. We didn't find it too intrusive. The villa's location, close to a couple of karaoke bars, means that occasionally we could hear live music, but it finishes by midnight and also didn't bother us. We felt it was a good compromise, given that we could walk to the centre of town in a few minutes. There's a supermarket and a bus stop just round the corner from the villa, which we found very useful. All in all, we loved the villa, and had a great holiday due to its facilities and location. The only suggestion I have to make things even better would be to have colour-coded caps on the keys - they look very similar and I often had to try a few before getting the right one (especially in the dark after a few drinks!). Overall, a fantastic villa with a lovely garden and pool in a perfect location. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Wonderful villa in the perfect location

It's the second time we've been to the villa and again we loved it - the pool is perfect for little ones it's ideal.
The location is by a little park on a quiet road even though bar 007 is located across the road it's a bonus to us it opens in the evenings and the great music they play you can only just hear sat out at night and we love that ..it adds to your evening .. Our boy fast asleep and us parents chilling outside wth a wine and nuts ,.. Bliss.
The beach is amazing and we recommend the beach bar for lunch it's good local tapas and they are so kind to the children.
The bus stop is very near and the bus service is spot on to visit Mahon.
Overall a lovely island and a fantastic villa .
Fantastic villa with private pool & garden
By Lisa Cokell on 10-Oct-2015
We have been booking our holidays at this villa for many years (6+). The owners are very helpful, friendly & understanding of all your needs (forgotten key safe code & extras needed for children i.e high chair) and ensure the villa is ready for your arrival.
The villa itself is located on a large plot of land within a 5-10 minute walk of numerous family run restaurants. It is always beautifully clean with spacious bedrooms & bathrooms, all of which are air-conditioned. The gardens & pool are well maintained & there is enough space for the whole family (6 of us) to play or relax in.
The one year we didn't return to this villa was due to unavailability & stayed further down the road in a similar sized villa. However, having been spoilt with en-suite bathrooms & air conditioning in each bedroom, we didn't enjoy our stay that year. We ensured from that year on we would always make sure we booked the villa the minute we got home. Mr Ranson is very efficient & replies promptly with approval of availability. For all the above reasons we are returning to this lovely villa next year, and are looking forward to an excellent stay once again.
A lovely holiday in a lovely Villa.

We had a great holiday at Villa Oliver. It is located in a quiet, location which is literally only a few minutes stroll to the local bars and restaurants . The villa is well equipped and very comfortable. The pool and patio area is superb and great for eating outside in the evenings. We took our children and grandsons who spent most of the fortnight in the pool.
We had a great time lazing around at the beach or by the pool and can't wait till next year to go back. We are already planning our next visit.

All i can say is, What an amazing Villa !!! So close to all the shops and resturants but far enough away from the noise.
The villa is so clean and well decorated. The pool area is fantastic, Great having the kids pool. All the rooms have air con which is a bonus. We also got clean towels and bedding delivered to us throughout the holiday. Nothing to fault, amazing villa and greatly situated.
