Amazing! Highly recommend
By Lauren Moyes on 18-Jul-2026This is a fantastic villa and we would highly recommend. We stayed for 2 weeks as a family of 6, ages ranging from 10 to 70. It is a very spacious villa with lovely gardens surrounding the villa. The garden is well looked after and the gardener spent the majority of a day tending to it while we were there. He was very polite and worked very hard. The pool and pool area is a super size. There were 8 sun beds and 4 parasols, so plenty of room and shade for everyone. The sun beds were the comfiest ones we’ve had abroad. The pool was clean and well looked after - the pool guy came 4 times and was very friendly and lovely. Overall, the gardens and the pool were amazing and very well maintained. At the back of the villa there is a construction site which Charlotte told us about. This didn’t cause us any issues at all. Some noise could be heard from about 7am but it didn’t hamper our holiday experience in any way. The hotel next door also did not disturb us in any way. The bbq area is one of the best we have had abroad - there is a large table next to the charcoal bbq. We had 2 bbqs while we were there, enjoying the meat from the nearby supermarket. It lit easily and there are bbq utensils in the kitchen to use.The large balcony was a great place to all gather together at lunch time and in the evenings. The supermarket is very close which is handy for buying daily fresh croissants and bread. We would recommend the carbonara, lasagne, bolognese and tortilla from the counter too. We gave ourselves half an hour each evening to walk into town. We tended to leave at about 7pm and it was a rather hot walk at that time! There is a little path that leads you to a car park, which is the route we took. Communication with Charlotte was great. She was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to book any of her villas in the future. Likewise Raymond Brennan for transport to/from the airport. Overall, we would highly recommend a stay at Monte Viento!

Beautifully appointed and spacious Villa
By Linda Morris on 25-Oct-2025Just returned from a wonderful family holiday at Villa Monte. Very spacious accommodation, perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 children and a baby. The open plan layout worked particularly well with good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Lovely modern kitchen with all the appliances we could have wished for. Beautiful terrace leading to a fabulous pool area with loungers and lots of inflatables for the children. The supermarket at the end of the road was well stocked and met all our needs when we ate in. A short 15 minute walk down the hill to a lovely beach with a good selection of bars, cafe's and restaurants. The town is a little further, but still within easy walking distance, with it's lovely street's filled with tapas restaurants, cafe's and shops - great vibes! We used the tourist train to visit the Nerja Caves, which were amazing and we also caught a bus to Frigiliana - so pretty with its white washed houses and narrow streets. Charlotte was an amazing host with great communication and recommendations. We made such wonderful family memories, thank you!
Absolutely Perfect
By Georgia Randall on 13-Sep-2025The villa is perfect, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you need, the pool area is amazing!! Location - really close to the supermarket (supermarket great with everything you need), 15 mins walk to the beach and about 20 to the town. Nerja is great for shopping and eating/drinking. We checked out several restaurant recommendations from Charlotte all of which were excellent. When we didn’t eat out we made use of the bbq and outside dining area at the villa. If you are an early bird the sunrise from the terrace at the villa is something else well worth getting up for. I’ve never done a villa holiday before but I 100% would return to this one. We were a group of adults but would also be perfect for families. No issues with booking, very straightforward and communication was excellent throughout. Highly recommended!!!
Lovely villa in a lovely small town
By Tony on 06-Sep-2025A very spacious property, light and airy with a large pool. AC in every room, a nice seated area under the awning to shelter from the sun, and a large kitchen with generously sized fridge freezer. Sunbeds by the pool with umbrellas....what more do you need? Large bedrooms with comfy beds, and cleaned very well for our arrival. Supermarket is a 5-minute walk, and a 15-minute walk down to the beach where you will find shops, restaurants and an excellent bakery. The yummy pastries and coffee started our day, every day. A little further on you will find the old town, centered on The Balcon. We didn't want the neon and noise that plagues much of the Brits abroad Costa, and Nerja is simply not that. Great restaurants where 90% + of guests are Spanish,; no hen parties, no stag dos, very similar to Spain in the 70s before the tourism explosion. Yes it's busy, but still charming in many ways. We found Nerja to be well placed for a day trip to Malaga (the old town is surprisingly inviting for a city) or Granada if you have a hire car. All in all we had a really nice week. We found the villa to be a great property to come back to after you've been out and about. Would we come back? If Spain was our destination, yes we would. Downsides.......the only one of note (and this because we are in our seventies) is the somewhat strenuous walk back from the beach area in the heat. We only did it once, as after that we grabbed a €7 taxi - sorted!
