Platform & Pricing Updates

What a month it’s been!

We’ve officially rounded off our old pricing system and have been working hard to help owners transition to our new pricing tool. If you’re still adjusting, don’t worry we’re here to help. Just give us a call!

Getting your property onto the new pricing tool is essential so it can be displayed on the GVR map, a major step toward attracting more guest enquiries.

IT Development Highlights

Our tech team has been busy! Here's what’s new:

 

  • Bedroom Feature: 
    Now live! Guests can see details of each bedroom, including bed type and a short description.
     
  • Flexible Date Search: 
    Coming very soon, watch this space!
     
  • Poll feature: 
    We want to find out what you’d like to see on our system. You can access this poll on your owners console.

UK Industry News - PASC Update

We recently attended the PASC Agency Conference in Tewkesbury to stay updated on key industry shifts. Here are some takeaways for our English and Welsh hosts:

  • Wales: 
    The controversial 182-day policy might be under reconsideration. 
    Good news!
     
  • Booking Trends:
    • 30% of bookings are now made within the last 15 days before travel.
    • The average length of stay has decreased to 4.9 days.

  • Great British Holiday Posters are now live!

  • New EPC Policy Incoming:
    New rules may require all properties to reach a C rating, regardless of type. PASC is actively pushing back on this.
     
  • Being Moved from Business Rates to Council Tax and the Renters Reform Bill: 
    Information on this is provided in the PASC members area.
     
  • Survey results: 
    PASC have surveyed all of their members in the UK and correlated their results with regards to the impact of STRs on local housing. The results of this can be found here:  https://www.pascuk.co.uk/reports/
