Host Planet Roadshow

IT Development Highlights

Our tech team has been hard at work this month. Here's what’s new:

  • Flexible Search Filter:
    Guests who are flexible on travel dates will now see your property, if it’s available, for up to 7 days either side of their search window.
     
  • Year to Year Pricing: 
    You can now copy your rates up to five years in advance with one click! Find this in the Pricing Tab under “Copy Yearly Rate.” You can also apply a set % increase for next year’s prices. (Just don’t forget to check dates like Easter and half-term!)
     
  • Extra Fees Feature: 
    Now live in Prices > Additional Charges > Custom Charges. Add local taxes, linen, hot tub fees, pool heating, air con or whatever applies to your property.
     
  • “Your Stay” Price:
    Guests now see the full cost of their stay upfront on the destination page. Once they click into your advert, they can select optional extras you’ve added in Custom Charges (like linen or heating).
     
  • Price Filter:
    Guests can now refine searches with a price filter, making it even easier for them to find your property.

Industry News

Scottish Hosts – Important Update
The ASSC are currently pursuing a legal case that could set key precedents for planning authorities across Scotland relating to STR. They’re asking for donations to support this effort, which will help protect compliant operators. Details available on their website.
